Lisa is getting her surgery today. In fact, she just left a few minutes ago. I should be asleep, but i think i am nervous for her. Despite how she was acting the last few days, she seemed to be totally fine with it today. I am not really worried that the surgery won't go well; i'm eager to see how she will recover. I really hope she takes my advice and stays away from work for a while. We may need money, but she doesn't have to hurt herself in order to get it. That is just foolish desperation.

There...is a cricket behind the couch. It is noisy, and i'm not sure the cats know what it is.

Also, something is beeping. Like a smoke-alarm-low-on-batteries beep. And yet there is no smoke alarm in sight! Creepy. The beep is provoking the cricket. Soon the bird will join in. I have a feeling i won't sleep well today.

As a special treat, i am posting two pictures. They are character designs i'm playing with for a new fanfic i might eventually write someday. A conglomeration of FFVII and Green Day. Alternate Universe, of course, which i hate but am willing to write anyway.

The gaki on the left, naturally, is Cloud in disguise. The beauty on the right, of course, is Sephiroth, also in disguise.
